All Together Now

LIZ SAYS: It is so wonderful when you have those "Life is sweet" moments. I had one yesterday.
After much tension and wrangling with officials and papers, we are all together now. My little avian/human family is all in the same place.
Dick is still suffering from a little jet lag and lifestyle transition.
Yesterday was Sunday and we walked up to the Louvre area, not to go to the museum. It's the time of year when the line begins to bulge. We will save that for a rainy winter day. There was a shopping area that was open on Sunday and we have to find baskets for the closet.

The Design Museum has a great restaurant and setting outside in a large protected ground, you can see the Eiffel tower from a distance. We found the cafe in the winter when you had to eat inside. Dick had a cut of meat that came with potatoes 'Pont Neuf', which turned out to be cut like the cobbles and arranged in a pattern like the ones the bridge. One the way back home we stopped at a flower shop and bought some dirt and a few ore plants for the balcony.
When we got home I potted the new ones and re-potted the ones I'd bought at the market.
I looked through the 'french doors/windows' to the balcony and it was postcard perfect. Life can be so sweet.
