Chinese New Year's Parade in Paris

LIZSAYS: Bang,bang,boom! Its the Chinese New Year's Day Parade, its also the Sunday after the official Chinese New Year. Everything is decked out in red and gold and its too cold to wait as long as we and thousands of others did for the parade, which seemed to be a couple of hours late. And of course, there are all the tall people. I am too short for public events, everyone in the world is taller than me, so finding a place to get good pics is virtually impossible. Okay, so, boo hoo, done.
But we got on our bikes and found a great spot! The firecrackers are defining, the crowd eventually joins in the parade, making it longer and slower towards the end. Bit, the joy and excitement is palatable. Bang, Bang, gongs and drums, dancing, dragons! Out with the year of the bunnies and into the year of the dragons. I say dragons beat bunnies any day!
