La Tendenza @ Pompidou Centre, Paris

LIZ SAYS: Architecture shows are always great. With the models and the drawings and the idea of three dimensional renderings, the room for fantasy is vast. And still, they always come down to bricks and mortar. So, no matter how fantastical, everything has to become tangible. This show, La Tendenza, at the Pompidou Centre, was no exception. It was a show featuring ideas of Italian architecture during the period from 1965-1985. From the gigantic paintings and stellar videos, to the idea of the wooden structure in various locations, it is a fanciful delight of optimism and shelter.
