LIZ SAYS: After ruining a second decent point and shoot camera by, somehow, letting dust get inside, on the sensor, I found myself, once again needing a camera, Right Now.
Right Now, turned out to be the brand new, burgeoning holiday, Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving is being hyped with neo-British Invasion hysteria as the Thing to Do The Day After Thanksgiving. Stores open at 10 p.m. Thursday, Thanksgiving night; midnight after dinner, 4 a.m., the dawn after Thanksgiving, anytime that sounds like a massively inconvenient shopping time, that’s when the doors open.)
People are evidently attracted to the idea, as they play along and throng to the big shopping box malls and fight for their right to savings. So, where am I on this new day of shopping madness? At the big box store getting a camera so I could take pictures that I forgot to take.
Its a really nice camera though and it was, of course, on sale.
