Museum of the Middle Ages

LIZ SAYS: Yesterday, before the horse ballet, we decided to go to the Museum of the Middle Ages to check out the Bath and Mirror (of ancient Romans) exhibit.
It turned out to be fascinating. The museum is located in an infinitely missable location in the middle of a highly trafficked shopping area. It is the former location of a Roman Bath. The Roman Baths have been restored and the medieval building built over them houses the Musee de Moyen Age.
The permanent collection includes the tapestries of the Lady and the Unicorn. Very famous and quite nice.
Upstairs and down stairs, though a very domestic view of the Middle Ages. Household objects from everyday life. It is clear that some people did pretty well from the lavish artwork.
