pollyanna
LIZ SAYS: After a bout of insomnia and news stories from hell, we took a walk, in the sun. I noticed a little shrub that looked like someone had pasted white paper flowers on it. I thought it was such a sweet idea that it took my mind off of carnage in North Africa, tsunamis and nuclear threats, what a sweet thing. Of course, I had to take a photo. As I walked over to the white wonder, I remembered how wonderful it was to have a sunny day after the grayness of winter.
All of a sudden, I was is in ‘raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens’ land. Call me Pollyanna, but sometimes pretty cakes and flowers are just enough.
As it turned out, the white flowers were the natural blooms, what a sweet thing.
