LIZ SAYS: I showed you ads for Domino's curried pizza and McDonald's apple pear milkshakes, but herring seems to be the godfood of Amsterdam. I just found these two posters amazing. Headless soccer playing herring and the yumyum girl dying to be fed the herring from above. It's just the sort of thing you notice, not being from the place.
