LIZ SAYS: We were walking along the Jordaan, in Amsterdam, when I spotted this plate.
If you notice, the birds on the plate have had feathers added to them. The white bird has a headdress I have never seen before. The colorful bird’s wings don’t match his body. I can’t imagine anyone drawing parrots and running out of material just copying the real things. This takes creativity to a whole new level.
