BHV a little winter in Paris

LIZ SAYS: We spent all of yesterday at BHV (bay-hahsh-vay) which is next to the original city hall (Hotel de Ville). BHV used to be the bazaar that surrounded the city hall. Winter in Paris is mile compared to Wisconsin, its usually around 35-45 during the day but the rain can get into your bones. Hardly any snow. So, being Parisians, what do they do? Set up a Merry Go Round and a skating rink next to the Hotel de Ville and have some winter fun. Its funny how one gets acclimated, I came out of the BHV thinking, whew, what a day at the hardware store, when I looked back at the hardware store, the big domed Beaux Art building next to a merry go round and skating rink, 2 blocks away some protest with every flag I recognized from the middle east, ladies and men with their precious little jacked dogs, sun in the sky, ah yes its a lovely day!
